Lake Information & Organizations

The Candlewood Homeowners Alliance is committed to working cooperatively with the organizations below that influence lake policy and our quality of life. We consider them to be our partners in lake stewardship and conservatorship — not our adversaries. The Candlewood Lake Authority in particular plays a vital role in protecting the lake and ensuring public safety. We encourage CHA members to support them financially. The link to the WestConn Lake Symposium Series provides recordings of educational sessions hosted by the Biology department. It’s a great resource for Candlewood homeowners to understand and monitor the state of the lake’s health and local ecological influences.
