About the Candlewood Homeowners Alliance
The Candlewood Homeowners Alliance was started in October of 2022 by a group of lake area residents intent on making a difference in our various communities. As we shared our thoughts, strategies, and intentions with other homeowners around the lake, we quickly recognized that our group has the potential to be bigger than just representing a handful of smaller HOAs. We now represent all five Candlewood Lake municipalities – Danbury, Brookfield, New Milford, Sherman and New Fairfield. We are not politicians – and this group is not political. We are a not-for-profit entity made up of individuals with business, engineering, environmental and legal backgrounds. We are developing a broad network of at-large members as well as a support structure for HOA leaders – many of whom face the same challenges and missions.
